Curiosity

The freedom to ask, explore and reconsider.

A question can open what certainty has closed. Curiosity must reach our own teachings as readily as anyone else’s. People need room to examine what they have inherited and follow an answer that changes their mind.

Living this Gift

We practise Curiosity by welcoming difficult questions, comparing interpretations and allowing an honest answer to change us. Noemoria’s sacred pages remain available for examination because reverence without inquiry can harden into obedience.

The standard it gives us

A teaching breaks Curiosity when questions are treated as disloyalty, doubt is punished or fear is used to stop someone examining a claim.

When Curiosity is broken

Examine documented examples, the reasons for our judgment and what we must learn from them.
