Knowledge
What we learn, examine, preserve and pass onward.
Knowledge carries experience beyond one lifetime. We honour it by keeping sources, admitting uncertainty and preserving evidence that challenges our conclusions. A belief must not purchase its survival by destroying the record.
Living this Gift
We practise Knowledge by preserving sources beside conclusions, distinguishing evidence from faith and recording why a teaching changes. Learning is not complete when it remains with one person; it must be made available to those who follow.
The standard it gives us
A person or institution breaks Knowledge by burning records, hiding testimony, inventing certainty or removing evidence because it threatens an accepted account.
When Knowledge is broken
Examine documented examples, the reasons for our judgment and what we must learn from them.
